Conditions of Entry

How to Enter:

1. To enter the competition, participants must first make a minimum purchase of $50.00 in a
single receipt from any participating Howards Storage World retail store between Monday 22nd
February, 2010 and the close of business on Sunday 28 March, 2010.

2. Participants must then enter their personal details and the unique receipt number from their
printed receipt on the Howards Storage World website: hsw.com.sg

3. Each valid, unique receipt number entered will receive 1 ENTRY into the draw.

4. Limit of one entry per unique receipt number.

5. Multiple purchases of at least $50.00 worth of Howards Storage World products with separate
unique receipt numbers will enable multiple entries.

6. Only Singaporean citizens & Permanent Residents are eligible to take part.

Prize:

7. The grand prize is 1 x fully-customised Howards Storage World elfa wardrobe system worth up to S$1,000 rrp only. Any additional cost and the installation of the elfa system is at the recipient’s expense.

Competition dates:

8. Competition starts on Monday 22nd February, 2010.

9. Valid purchases can be made up until the close of business on Sunday 28th March, 2010.

10. Entries will be received up until 12:00 midnight on Wednesday 31st March, 2010.

11. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry. Participation in this
promotion constitutes acceptance of these conditions of entry.

12. Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies
associated with this competition and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

13. All winners agree to grant Howards Storage World permission to use their name for publicity
purposes of announcing the winners.

Prize draw:

14. The prize draw for 1 x $1,000 Howards Storage World elfa wardrobe system will be conducted at 11.00am on Monday 5th April, 2010 at 80 Marine Parade Road, #B-41 Parkway Parade, Singapore 449269.

15. The first valid entry and receipt number drawn from all entries received up to 12:00 midnight
Wednesday 31st March, 2010 will be deemed the winner.

16. The winner will be notified via e-mail and ordinary post.

17. If the prize is unclaimed after 2 months from the announcement of the winner, the prize or its
equivalent value shall, unless the Minister directs otherwise, be donated to the Community
Chest or to such other charity as may be approved by the Minister.

18. The Promoter may, at its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further
participation in this Promotion by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering
with the entry process or with the operation of the Promotion or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or
harass any other person.

19. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other
form of compensation. In the event for any reason a prize winner does not take an element of
the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited
by the winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of
that element of the prize.

20. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, mobile network failure, bugs, tampering,
unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the
Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper
conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or
suspend the Promotion, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the
gaming authorities, where required.

21. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database. The
Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information
caused by an entrant or occurring during transmission. The Promoter is not responsible for
any problems or technical malfunction of any computer network, or lines, servers or internet
providers, traffic congestion on any computer network, or any combination thereof, including
any injury or damage to Eligible Participants or any other person’s computer related or
resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communications or of any materials
in this competition.

22. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize
winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.

23. All or any liability for the taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the recipient.

24. Any additional cost required or incurred in taking up a reward is at the cost of the recipient.

25. Each entry becomes the property of the Promoter. All details will be held in accordance with
the Howards Storage World Privacy Policy and will not be disclosed to any third parties. The
information entrants provide may used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this
Promotion. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and
agents to assist in conducting this Promotion or communicating with entrants and to the
gaming authorities whereby the winner’s name may be published as required under the
relevant legislation. Entry into the promotion constitutes your consent to any personal
information to be used by the Howards Storage World for customer database and marketing

26. Partaking in this competition signifies acceptance of all conditions. The Promoter’s decision
shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right to
limit entry or amend rules if considered necessary without notice.
